Automatic Litterbox Central

I know your interested in soft carriers, but I tried some and the things I didn't like about them are that if a cat happens to pee in the carrier, you are never going to get the smell out completely and I don't think they are as safe.

On the safety side, what I mean is that I like to seat belt the carrier into a seat of the car. This is easy through the handle of a hard carrier and will protect your baby if you get into an accident. The carrier would remain in the seat and kitty would be kept from flinging around the cabin of the car. I haven't seen a soft carrier that I could do this with and not worry that the seat belt would crush the cat or the strap be too long and allow the carrier to be flung about. Seat belting my pets in is very, very important to me and we have a harness for the dog when we travel and he gets his own seat so I insist on doing the same for the kitties.

If anyone has seen a seat belt safe soft one that would be machine washable in case of accidents, please holler, I would be very interested!!

I took my cat to the vet for his dental exam in my backpack carrier. When I walked in they asked if they could help me. I said my cat has a dental appointment.

"Is he still in your car?"

No, he was on my back. I had to turn around to show them the poor creature. It looks so much like a conventional backpack that they never suspected it was a cat carrier.

haha that's too funny. How much does he weigh? total weight with carrier?

He only weighs about twelve pounds. I've carried over forty pounds of camera equipment on my back for miles many of times.
