Well, This is just a note to let all cat owners know that Starwood has a corporate ban on all felines. How unfair is that! I travel with my kitty on a regular basis and it angers me that my well behaved, quiet kitty is not allowed to stay at any Starwood hotel. I have endured staying next to a room with a barking dog, and I have witnessed the damage a dog can do to furniture. It amazes me that Starwood will allow dogs but not cats. I am currently reaching out to their executive office for a reason, but as yet, have not received any answers. Hilton does not have any challenges. I contacted several other chains that allow pets, and they are all fine with cats and dogs. So far Starwood is the only one.
I write this to educate others and in the hopes that someone from Starwood might realize their mistake and adjust their policy. I myself have just stopped staying at any Starwood properties and have shifted to other companies. It seems silly, but as a cat owner, I feel that this sort of discrimination is unfair and unjust.
Cheers,
Kitty3
