CatGenie 60 Questions

I have owned my CG for some 4 years now. It has been a god send for me really. My profession made it so coming home and finding "land mines" was par for the course. CG was a perfect stop gap, and worked oh so marvelously... No more land mines, just happy, purring kitties.

My job, and life have changed. My CG performs well, but only after buying some replacement parts from eBay. I tried buying the part needed directly from Petnovations, which was met with a sales pitch to upgrade to the 120 for 330 bucks! Uhm.. No.. I would pay 100 bucks for it, but since I have 300 already wrapped up into buying my 60.. Petnovations makes an OK product, but they also think that their "land mines" dont stink.. We all know better...

So I am considering buying one of the reprogrammers for the cartridges, since after this last malee with their customer service irritated me to no end..

I am looking at http://www.smartcartridgereset.com/ . Does anyone know if he is still in business? Are their other options, of a pre-made kind that will work just as easily? I think the owner of that website is a member here, is he still active?

Has anyone found the purrfect concoction to run in the cartridges? I see quite a bit of talk, but no one seems to agree with anyone else.

I am considering the use of Odoban Eucalyptus, D128 Dual Quat, and Benefect Botanical Disinfectant. Just want to be sure to buy the right one, so looking for opinions, and suggestions.

I have 6 catridges currently, including the one that the CG is currently using. So that should set me up for 2 months of use before a refill is needed.
