CG 60 for sale - brand new bowl

Postby juliel » Sun Aug 29, 2010 10:23 am

I finally upgraded to the 120 and have my 60 for sale. I just swapped out the processing units, so what I'm selling is the old processing unit (which was I believe replaced under warranty about 9 months ago, so it's fairly new) and the brand new bowl that shipped with the new unit - one that's never been pooped in or peed in by any cat. I've got about a box of granules and I think two partial cartridges that are half full or so. I'm in Raleigh NC but can ship - just need to get a shipping quote, or am happy to ship on your FedEx or UPS label. I'd like to get around $150 for the unit; that's about half the price of a new CG120! Please PM me if interested. I'm trying to avoid having to put this on ebay and dealing with people there. Thanks!

My 60 used to build up a lot of litter under the bowl and processor. My 120 barely lets anything get buy it. I don't know if the design was slightly changed or if their Quality got better but the difference between the 60 bowl and the 120 bowl is amazing, at least mine is.

Not to be a pain, but I think I'm missing something here - how does that affect me selling my unit? Are you telling people not to buy it? Are you telling me I should keep the bowl from the 120 and sell a used 60 bowl? Please clarify.

I would use the 120 bowl.

Thanks for the input - but I was really just looking for someone who was interested in buying the unit. The unit remains for sale as listed. Thanks everyone.

So what Hazmat is trying to say is...

Anyone buying this package would be gitting the better bowl setup along with the Cat Genie 60 processor. ;)

If you will be using everything that comes with the 120 except you will use your 60 bowl, I beleive you will be risking problems. And if that happens, I suppose you will expect PN to fix it when it is of your doing?. Keep you 120 totally intact.

Wow. Thanks everyone for hijacking this, especially since it's not even to suggest that a buyer will have problems with purchasing the setup I'm selling. I don't really understand the need to interject unasked for commentary here. I'm trying to sell it, if you're not interested in buying it, please keep on reading the rest of the forum.

Everytime someone replies to this thread...they bump it up to the top so people can see it. ;)

...if you don't need the help, we'll just post a lot of other posts and it will drop off the first page...never to be seen again. :(

I guess my definition of helping doesn't include preemptively accusing me of demanding unwarranted repair service. I think that's pretty rude, but maybe everyone else thinks it's ok. *I* however, find that to be a paternalistic chiding that I don't appreciate. But what do I know? I'm the same one who's stupid enough to keep their old bowl on the assumption someone wouldn't want a used bowl that my cats had already pooped and peed in, no matter how "clean" I made it.
To clarify, THIS is the post I find incredibly insulting:

> And if that happens, I suppose you will expect PN to fix it when it is of your doing?

The rest were just unclear to me as to how they related to me selling the unit.
