Laundry room adapter

I misplaced mine because it's been so long I've been using the bathroom adapter. I went to the hardware store to look for something similar and they were kind of expensive for most of the materials. Any ideas on how to find one cheaper? Are there some materials that I shouldn't use because they're too cheap?

You can use a "Y" splitter fer garden hoses. They have separate ball valves so you can turn one or both on/off independently.

Petnovations sells them...I think its both adapters for around $5, but then shipping made it a little over $10. It has been awhile, but you might give that a try.

They make the splitters in poly, zinc, and brass. I went with the brass "Y" splitter with separate valves. It cost about $10 at Lowes.

I also upgraded my supply hose to the auto shut off stainless braided type. The hose (dishwasher supply line) cost about $25. I don't need the Cat Genie to be the weak point as far as broken water supply lines go... ;)

Perfect, the info was just what I needed. I managed to get a zinc one from walmart for only $3.50.

I'm not sure how long the zinc one will last...it will depend on what yer water supply mineral content is like. If you have some lime buildup on yer faucets you may see telltale pitting on yer fixtures. I'd go with brass if you can. :D
