I agree. I think he only does it when he is out of his daily allowance of cat food and fins some plastic he can chew with out having to stand up to chew on it. In the middle of the night I was awaken but the LOUD cat purr on the middle floor, while I was passed out in the basement. He was just above me. I looked over and he was out of food and my daughter had left a empty plastic trash bag between a pile of books on her desk and he was up there chewing and a purring and a growling with happiness until I was woken and went up stairs to find him sprawled out on my daughters desk like he had the catnip munchies ! Now he has never eaten this type of plastic before, but I guess he found some and was hungry. So this is now twice in the last month the CG clogged with plastic and I get back from knee therapy to find my CG full of water, clogged with plastic and no beep code or sound. What happens is the plastic picks up and dumps pellets in the grinder-hoppers then clogs. Guess I need a better plastic policy in my home!
