Fresh Results aka Natures Miracle

Postby AzureBlue » Fri Aug 22, 2008 3:06 pm

I have been using WBCL for about 2 years. My cats liked it and I liked the fact that it was natural and not heavy like clay litters. Unfortunately, as time went on, I disliked the smell more and more.

I was in WalMart the other day and saw a brand called Fresh Results. It is a clumping litter made from corn cobs and is light weight like WCBL, so I decided to try it. I've only been using it for about 3 days and so far I really like it. It has a mild pine(ish) scent that I do not find offensive. It works great in my automatic litter box and my 2 cats had no problem adapting to it. Since it has odor control built in, I am hoping I will not have to change it out as often as I did with WCBL.

Searching the Internet, I discovered that this is the same as Nature's Miracle brand litter and made by the same company. The difference is the price. Fresh Results cost me $6.22 for a 10 lb bag at WalMart, which I believe is the only store that sells it under this brand name.

I would be interested in feedback from others who have used this litter.

We use this litter (Fresh Results) & really like it. It is the same product as Nature's Miracle (I called the manufacturer to verify). The pine scent is prevalent at first, but dissipates quickly, & the litter is very good at controlling odor (we've never had to do a complete litter dump-&-replace due to smell issues; this litter doesn't begin to smell "funny" after extended use). It does track a lot, but not as bad as Swheatscoop. It is not dusty at all. I do notice that some clumps are softer (& hence break apart more easily) than others, but it's not a big issue for us.

All of our litterboxes are manual. We use the Litter Lifter scoop (http://www.litter-lifter.com/), & it does a terrific job (much better than regular scoopers).

Overall, we're very happy with the Fresh Results litter.
Owned by 7 kitties, ages from 1 to 16yrs (& 1 parrot, lest he feel left out). Currently using: CatIt & Drinkwell fountains, Castor & Pollux Organix, & Pet Promise cat foods, & manual litterboxes w/Fresh Results cat litter.
