I have used some of the papurr scoop (clumping) recently...
Good points
1. Does a pretty good job on odor control
2. Feels like sand, so cats tend to like it.
3. Lighter weight than clay, but heavier than some other organic litters so not as likely to get out of the box.
4. Cheaper than WBCL and sometimes goes on sale (at petsmart)
5. Not very smelly, a slight "aloe" smell to it, but no heavy perfume.
Bad points
1. I used this in an omega paw roll-away box (basicaly a non-motorized litter robot that you have to roll).
Although it does clump, it absorbs very slowly, so the clumps become spread out and stuck to the bottom and sides of my omega paw...meaning I had to scrape the sides.
2. Clumps fairly weakly, so clumps would break apart easily when rolling and trying to scoop them out.
I solved these problem by mixing 50/50 with WBCL (world's best cat litter). But all WBCL works even better in terms of the clumping and not-sticking. IMO feline pine scoop (clumping) also works better than the papurr scooop AND it is lighter weight. BUT it tracks worse and gets on the cat's faces.
I'd say go with WBCL rather than papurr, or do a 50/50 mix of both.
